Dr. Francesca Serraino Fiory

Trained across both Western scientific disciplines and Eastern healing traditions, Dr. Francesca brings a unique, integrative perspective to her work. Her approach blends the rigor of Western medical understanding with the depth and sensitivity of traditional Eastern medicine, guided by presence, touch, and genuine human connection.

Her practice is rooted in listening, connection, and care for the whole person.

Francesca Serraino Fiory, DACM, LAc, Dipl. OM, LMT is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a California board licensed acupuncturist. She earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, where she completed advanced clinical training in integrative and patient-centered care.

Originally from Rome, Italy, Francesca brings a rich and diverse academic background to her healing work. She holds a PhD in Materials Engineering, a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Universities of Rome La Sapienza and Tor Vergata. Before transitioning into holistic medicine, she held senior leadership roles in global pharmaceutical companies, specializing in Regulatory and Medical Affairs.

While this experience gave her a deep understanding of Western medical science, Francesca felt called toward a more human-centered and intuitive approach to health, one that addresses mind, body, and emotional wellbeing rather than focusing solely on symptoms.

Her journey into holistic healing began in Rome following a life-threatening car accident. During her recovery, she discovered Shiatsu Massage Therapy, a form of bodywork rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, which profoundly supported her healing process. She trained in Shiatsu Therapy at the European Federation of Oriental Arts and later studied Chinese Medicine at the Superior Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Villa Giada in Rome, all while continuing her work in the pharmaceutical industry.

After relocating to California, Francesca continued her education at the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas, earning certifications as a Holistic Health Practitioner, Nutrition Consultant, Aromatherapist, and Clinical Master Herbalist. She also became a Licensed Massage Therapist through the Healing Hands School of Holistic Health in San Diego.

In addition, Francesca is a certified Jikiden Reiki Practitioner, Shoden and Okuden levels, having studied this traditional Japanese healing art at the San Diego Reiki Training Center under the guidance of the Jikiden Reiki Institute of Japan.

Her training also includes advanced non-surgical facial and body rejuvenation techniques under the guidance of world-renowned pioneer Lanying Cui. Through this work, she developed refined skills in holistic aesthetics, anti-aging care, reproductive health support, weight management, and body sculpting.

A lifelong student of healing arts, Francesca has a particular interest in Japanese Meridian Therapy. This form of Japanese acupuncture emphasizes pulse diagnosis, palpation, and treatment of root imbalances through the meridians, the energetic pathways that carry Qi throughout the body. This intuitive and precise approach reflects her clinical philosophy and guides each treatment.

Francesca believes that true health is a dynamic state of balance, awareness, and vitality. Her calling is to support people at every stage of life, whether they are navigating chronic conditions, emotional stress, or simply seeking greater alignment and wellbeing. She meets each patient where they are, with compassion, presence, and individualized care, honored to support their journey toward lasting vitality.
