Microneedling
A gentle, minimally invasive treatment that stimulates collagen and supports natural skin regeneration while respecting your skin’s own rhythm.
Your skin is constantly renewing itself, but stress, aging, and environmental exposure can slow that process. Microneedling gently encourages your skin to remember how to regenerate without harsh interventions.
Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses fine micro needles to stimulate natural collagen, stem cells, and elastin production. It supports skin renewal while respecting your skin’s rhythm.

Frequently Asked Questions about Microneedling
Is microneedling painful?
Microneedling is generally very well tolerated. Most people describe the sensation as mild pressure or light scratching rather than pain. Treatment depth is adjusted to your comfort level (deeper is not necessarily better), and care is taken to ensure a calm, supportive experience.
How long is recovery?
You may experience redness similar to a mild sunburn immediately after treatment. For most people, redness subsides within 24–48 hours, and normal activities can be resumed right away.
How many sessions do I need?
Results are cumulative. Many people notice improved skin texture and glow after one session, while a series of 3–6 treatments, spaced several weeks apart, is typically recommended for longer-lasting results such as improved tone, and reduced fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring.
How long do results last?
Can I receive microneedling if I’ve had Botox?
Yes. Microneedling can safely complement Botox when properly timed. It’s generally recommended to wait 2 weeks after Botox before microneedling. We’ll review your treatment history and timing to ensure optimal results.
Why receive microneedling from an acupuncturist?
As licensed acupuncturists, we approach microneedling from a whole-body, holistic perspective. Treatment is guided by East Asian medicine principles, supporting circulation, collagen and stem cell production, and overall skin health while also considering stress, digestion, hormones, and lifestyle factors that affect the skin. This integrative approach promotes results that are not only visible, but supportive of long-term wellness.
